The question worth answering was whether a business can genuinely run without a person earning attention by hand every day, and the only honest way to answer it is to build one and watch. Each stage can stop the next, so a product failing its own quality check never reaches a storefront, and one customers keep refunding removes itself without being asked. The measurements went in before the verdict rather than after it, because a checkpoint with nothing measuring it is a checkpoint in name only.
