The pipeline: sense demand from public forums, generate the product, put it through a quality gate, render it, publish it, sell it, and automatically unlist anything whose refund rate crosses a threshold. Seven stages, one codebase, no human in the middle of any of them.
The last stage is the one people skip. A machine that can publish without supervision needs a way to withdraw without supervision too, or the first bad output stays up forever with your name on it. The kill metric went in before the first product did.
The other thing that went in early was the instruments. Search Console verified, analytics enabled, and both actually read rather than assumed. That sounds obvious until you notice how many launches arrive at their own decision date with nothing measured, at which point the finding is not about the market. It is that nobody looked.
The first real measurement changed the diagnosis completely, which is the argument for taking it early rather than at the end.
